You talk about how the Uncanny X-Men comic had become about evolving the concept into new things and how X-Factor was the comic about doing the classic things (original members vs. the sentinels).
I think this is interesting because it looks like X-Men and X-Factor swapped places after the soft reboot with X-Men and Uncanny X-Men telling stories that harken back to the classic Byrn/Clairmont era while X-Factor and X-Force trying to take the concepts in new directions.
Yes, we no longer have an X-comic in which there is no team like we had in Uncanny post Australia, but I think that idea had pretty much run its course already.
