In which writers Dennis Hopeless and Charles Soule join us for a live episode at Emerald City Comic Con, Age of X is the world’s worst morale boost; Charles and Dennis X-Plain the Marvel Universe; we still can’t get Hieronymus Bosch’s X-Men out of our heads; and apparently somehow we’ve recorded and posted 150 of these things.

- Evil Moira MacTaggert Disambiguation
- The post-Secret Wars Marvel Universe
- Major X-Men turning points
- ResurrXion
- Planning events
- A profoundly unexpected crossover
- Namor’s definitive qualities

Charles Soule has a good poker face about Astonishing X-Men.
Whenever Jay mentions Havok’s dissertation, I can get sympathy anxiety for Not-Yet-Dr. Summers.
Professor Xavier understood that Havoc must never be allowed to finish his dissertation. “Doctor Havoc” can only be a supervillain name.
True.
Another possibility: Prof. Xavier may be aware of the adjunct crisis and how flooded the academic job market is. He therefore is trying to prevent Havok from getting his degree (and may be manipulating other grad students from getting theirs as well) to do his part to uncrowd the job market, thus forcing universities to up academic wages.
Classic Jerk Xavier: manipulating others and ruining their lives for the greater good.
Adjunct Crisis sounds like the worst DC event.
Not a Hoax! Not an Imaginary Story! You get paid $6000 for teaching a full semester’s courseload!
Jay’s Fallen Angels 2 proposals must be greenlit – immediately!
Happy 150th!
It’s a shame that IvX hadn’t wrapped up so they could discuss it, though to be honest, the comments I’ve heard about the finale have well, let’s just say “not been kind”, so that might have been for the best.
I wonder how do you feel now, considering that you gave a “Peanut Butter Man” the voice? I would feel shame.
