Where is the Storm # 4 review? It was good.
Oh, HELL. Did I accidentally leave it out of the video? If so, I’ll upload it separately. I’m sorry!
Is Abed holding / propping up a katana?
No. It’s a wakizashi.
I love the way Miles looks at Rachel. Y’all are adorable
Also wondering where the review for Storm #4 is! Iirc (from previous episodes) you guys were particularly looking forward to it because, well, it’s Ororo and Yukio! Hope to see it soon 😮
I have to admit, I really did enjoy the Death of Wolverine issue 4. Admittedly, it didn’t redeem the slog (or crap) that issues 1-3 were, but I honestly felt that the fourth issue had a lot of good character beats for Logan. It really helped emphasize how far he’s come as a character.
I’d even go so far to admit that, while I didn’t shed a tear, those last few pages did warm my heart slightly. It was a well-done ending to a miniseries/event that didn’t deserve it.
Still expecting him to come back in about a week, though.
I feel the opposite. I really enjoyed the first three issues, but I’m with Rachel and Miles in feeling that the fourth one was kinda’ meh. It wasn’t bad exactly. It was just anticlimactic.
Are you planning on doing a Cyclops-specific write-up of Uncanny X-Men #27 like you did with #25 & #26? There was a TON of good stuff in this issue that calls back to his whole mental/emotional arc from AvX that I just gushed over, and I loved your last two write-ups.
Probably not. It’s a good issue, with good character moments, but the point of the #26 write-up was looking at how that character arc intersects with subtle craft considerations in comics storytelling, which isn’t as much of a thing in 27.
Honestly, I feel cheated by the death of Wolverine. For him to end in such a lackluster way was..blah. It would have been better to just kill him in a regular book with no fanfare. That would have had more weight and impact. The only reason I can see to kill him is to try and wrestle him away from the Xmovies and back t the arvel cinimatic universe.
Why didn’t you review Deadpoil art of war? He’s a mutant too you guys!
Can you guys start putting time stamps next to each comic listed in the description? It will help out for those of us not up to date on other comics in the video.
Thanks!
Yeah, probably.
FWIW, the reviews are always listed in order, and it’s very easy to tell where each one starts if you look for the covers as you fast-forward.
