This is the first episode I’m listening to the week that it was released! It took me EXACTLY one year after starting the night of your 2017 RCCC panel, but I got all caught up! EEEEE.
That said, I have a question! I know you have both been expressed being fans of Blizzard products (WoW, specifically) in the past. I’m a major Overwatch fan, and after someone did fan art of all the Overwatch heroes as X-Men (not me, but art here for reference: https://imgur.com/gallery/CVTOC ), the conversation came up up among my friends: which Overwatch heroes would the X-Men have as their mains, if they played the game?
This lead to some spirited debate because, well, obviously. But I’m curious what your takes would be, if you’re familiar enough with Overwatch to have opinions.
Can we get some shots of this green sweater?
Should I ask for context for the “Evil Gang Cocktail Party on Mars” zine?
I mean, I know it SOUNDS like it’s self-explanatory, but I don’t think it is.
It’s a minicomic and activity book about Girl-Gang cocktail parties on Mars.
That sounds like MUCH more fun!

Love the show, great panel. There was a comment suggesting x-men content is more relatable to queer issues than racial Yes the point was valid, but I’m a not a fan of one specific marginalized group over another when it comes who relates best. As a black gay male, I have also seen racial minorities make the same claim, when in actuality, ANY marginalized group can equally relate. Religious minorities, immigrants, ethnic, gender, , queer, and so on. Each one can easily point to an x-related dynamic that speaks directly to them, which is what make the x-men so amazing. The x-men are reminder than all of these marginalized groups have a lot more in common that we realize.
