Thanks for the coverage of an underexplored era of X-continuity, when I picture late 90’s X-men, I see Bengus’ Marvel vs Capcom art. Learning Nicieza came back to the main book later in the 90’s was surprising, Cable and Deadpool was one of my favorite X-books in high school and an issue from his ’99 Gambit ongoing was the second X-book I bought.
Less germane to the episode but could I trouble anyone for an invite to the Discord? I couldn’t find a live link and I’m not on social media. I was at the 10th anniversary party but the autistic burnout was real.
Absolutely! Please email us at xplainthexmen (at) gmail (dot) com with something about Discord in the subject line and we should be able to set that up pretty soon.
