“Thunderbird—the first X-man who died”
A truth claim that was repeated this episode. A claim I 100% agree with…
I grew up believing this was true, but a TWELVE YEAR OLD KID at Alakazam Comics in Irvine, CA recently SCHOOLED me on Morph:
“Sydney first appeared as Changeling, a mutant shapeshifter. He was a short-lived adversary for the X-Men who subsequently joined Professor X and died shortly after, making him the first member of the X-Men to die in action”
From:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Sydney
Which seems like something you would have covered, but I have NO memory of this having been discussed. Is it true? Did #MorphDieFirst ?
Just a heads up, this episode never made its way onto google podcasts/google play.
Weird; it’s showing up there on my phone and on the web (https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=aHR0cDovL2ZlZWRzLmZlZWRidXJuZXIuY29tL3hwbGFpbnRoZXhtZW4) – on what platform/device are you not seeing it?
