I always laugh when I read this. It’s great that they were (and still are) such good friends, that the editor could come up with a comment like that, in the book.
I do recall in the summer of 85 that an entire Bullpen Bulletins one month was devoted on “How to read the X-Men this summer”, because of all the series and extra issues and publishing challenges that tangled things up. God bless Ann Nocenti.
